About our Founders
Ron E. Jackson
Ron E. Jackson started as a service manager for Barber - Colman's factory office in Indianapolis, Indiana. Seeing a great opportunity, he decided to start his own company, Jackson Control Company. During the 20 years Mr. Jackson owned this company, he became the premier designer and supplier of commercial control systems in Indiana. After selling this company, Ron became a full time inventor specializing in the design of controls and tools. He developed and sold his first zone control designs to Enerstat (now part of Robertshaw), who marketed them under the System 2, System 3 + 2, and System 10 trade names. Mr. Jackson currently holds 13 patents, his latest two being the Comfort System ™ zone control product and the Temp-Stat ™ temporary construction thermostat.
Ron has been recognized by ACCA in the central Indiana Hall of Fame and recently celebrated his 50th year in the industry.
Thomas W. Jackson
Tom is a degreed engineer and spent several years as a territory manager with a large wholesaler in Indiana before coming to manage the Jackson Systems company in 1997. In tenshort years Tom has grown Jackson Systems from a start up company to a 10 million dollar company with more than 20 employees.
